View Large 20" Antique Turkish Brass Enclosed Oil Lantern Etched Glass Kerosene Lamp with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. The interior of the oil lamp is rusted and pitted. The threaded fitting is not water tight although it does screw into the vessel. Current oil has been burned off but the lamp does retain an odor of lamp oil. This is a pre-owned vintage item being sold as is in survivor condition with wear and patina commensurate with age and use. There are some noted issues. Please read full description and see photos to confirm details and approximate dimensions. The oil lantern unscrews and can be removed and this can be used with candle of your chosing. The door glass is loose along the seam closest to the hinge. There's something loose rattling around in the bottom compartment. There is corrosion, tarnish, and even paint built up on the surface that has withstood a light cleaning. The nut that secures the oil lamp seems to have had a weld fail and been epoxied in. The oil lamp screws into place. The interior of the oil lamp is rusted and pitted. The threaded fitting is not water tight although it does screw into the vessel. the wick adjusts to change flame intensity. Current oil has been burned off but the lamp does retain an odor of lamp oil. The handle finial does not swivel but does come unscrewed (and will ship unscrewed, as will the oil lamp.) Pleas be advised that the final gets hot As F(ire) when this has been lit for any measure of time.  Handle with caution. Height of lamp is approximately 20.25 in with the hanger adding another approximate 2.5 in. It measures approximately 6.5 in across at the base. Total weight is approximately 3.5 lb.
