This is a Polo Ralph Lauren engraved concho-style plaque belt, in a size XL. It features a thick full-grain vegetable-dyed black Italian leather belt. with a engraved silver buckle with gold-tone riveted stylized 'RL' lettering. It features a thick full-grain vegetable-dyed black Italian leather belt. with a engraved silver buckle with gold-tone riveted stylized 'RL' lettering. The buckle is handmade by artisans in Mexico, and has the maker's marks stamped on the back. Unknown material, likely silver plated, and brass letters. Although most of the embossed details on the inside of the belt are illegible, it seems that the belt was labeled as a size XL. The belt has five different adjustable sizes, the details of which can be found below. It seems the belt was meant to be worn primarily on the largest setting, at 37", with the other holes meant to be spaced away for optimal visual appeal. That being said, all holes are fully functional. Please refer to the measurements before purchasing. A super unique belt, timeless and beautifully made.  Measurements: Waist size: 30-34", 1" increments, with additional hole at 37" Belt Width: 1.75" Good vintage condition. Some tarnishing and oxidation on the buckle. The interior surface of the leather belt is in so-so condition, some surface treatment has rubbed off from wear. See photos for more details.  Sold as-is.
