This is a lot of 39 vintage handmade quilt blocks in the Churn Dash (also known as Monkey Wrench) pattern, pieced from a variety of calico floral cotton prints in navy, black, pink, lavender, orange, and green on a muslin/white ground. Most blocks measure approximately 11 inches square, with a few smaller, and approximately 15 of the 39 are already machine-sewn together into a partial strip while the remainder are separate unfinished blocks. One block is embroidered with the name "Ida Sawyer" in cursive. The blocks show visible seam allowances, some loose threads, and one block has a small hole/tear in the orange print fabric.
