This edition is hand-printed by Unsodo in Kyoto using the original woodblocks created for the first edition, originally published in the 1950s. Printed by master craftsmen using traditional Ukiyo-e techniques on fine Japanese washi paper, it faithfully preserves the beauty, color, and craftsmanship of Kasamatsu's original design. The visible pigment bleed-through on the reverse is a natural characteristic of authentic hand-printed Japanese woodblock prints. For shipping, the print will not be rolled. Rolling may cause permanent curling or damage, so we ship prints flat, carefully sandwiched between rigid cardboard to protect them.
