The gold filled jewelry pieces on displays and in that surrounding area of the photos remain suitable for wear, however may benefit from a gentle cleaning. These jewelry pieces retain their stone embellishments and functionality. The cat's eye glasses also retain their lenses. Most jewelry pieces are largely intact pertaining to finish, while some pieces although still heavily gold plated exhibit a bit more cosmetic surface wear than others. Also in the lot will be a dedicated, scrap gold filled, (plate) portion, visible on the left hand side of the photos. Although heavy plated, we are uncertain of the karat content plating on any unmarked pieces. For your bidding consideration, we are offering a pre-owned, mostly vintage to antique lot of gold filled, (heavy gold plate,) rolled gold plate, (heavy gold plate,) and unmarked heavily gold plated jewelry and accessories over or combined with base metals for scrap gold recovery or wear. In the lot will be found wearable jewelry pertaining to gold filled, necklaces, bracelets, brooches, earrings, a pocket watch, (marked 14k, however tested as filled) pocket watch chain and fob, rings, lockets, pendants, cat's eye spectacles and more. Also in the lot will be a dedicated, scrap gold filled, (plate) portion, visible on the left hand side of the photos. The overall lot will be marked for plate content, plate purity percentage and maker, or some combination thereof and some items will have no markings at all, nonetheless are heavy gold plate. Some plating purity contents noticed are 10k, 12, 14k (some with plating percentage, some without) and perhaps others. All are pre-owned and as such will exhibit wear and disfunction to varying degrees with some wearable, functional exceptions. Please see the above condition description for more information pertaining to the lot. All items are gold filled, rolled gold plate or otherwise in some way, heavily plated using some means of older plating process. Although heavy plated, we are uncertain of the karat content plating on any unmarked pieces. Please note that some items will contain components that are non-plated and are composed of some base metal. One ring will be heavy gold plate over sterling silver. We presume that most base metals consist of copper, brass, stainless steel or perhaps other alloy mixes unknown to us. Most items are vintage to antique in age, with a very few contemporary exceptions. Non heavy gold plate components remain such as stone embellishments in jewelry, fastening pins, etc. The beautifully detailed, hunter case, pocket watch although non working, is intact retaining it's crystal and mechanism. The cat's eye spectacles also retain their lenses. Though we have endeavored to be thorough in our description to the best of our ability, please be advised that there may be an item here or there that may not be heavily gold plated, less than heavily gold plated, or (although we presumed so,) composed of something other than heavy gold plate. The weight is substantial at approximately 576 total grams all inclusive. Separately, the gold filled, or (heavy plated) scrap portion weighs an approximate 179 grams. The 12k gold filled eyeglasses weigh an approximate 130 grams and the wearable, gold filled jewelry weighs an approximate 267 grams.
