The underside features the authentic stamped red square Shibata maker's mark alongside its original "Made in Japan" foil sticker. Beautiful vintage Japanese porcelain ginger jar with matching lid, manufactured by Shibata Toki (Shibata Pottery) circa 1970s–1980s. This elegant piece is decorated in the traditional Satsuma style, featuring a detailed hand-embellished transfer design of a regal peacock perched amidst pink peony blossoms and green bamboo. The jar and lid are highlighted with rich gold gilt accents and framed by an intricate burnt-orange and gold patterned border.
