Commonly referred to as a narcissus bulb bowl or footed pedestal dish, this elegant piece features a unique curved, elongated diamond / lozenge shape that makes it a perfect tabletop centerpiece or chinoiserie accent. 7.5” long x 6” wide x 3” tall.  Design & Pattern Details: - Central Motif: A stylized chrysanthemum or lotus medallion framed inside a central ruyi-shaped framework at the basin. - Border Scroll: A continuous karakusa (vines and foliage) design weaving elegantly along the flared interior walls and decorating the raised pedestal foot. - Glaze: Features a traditional blue-tinted ground slip beneath fluid, varying shades of hand-applied cobalt blue brushstrokes. Base & Firing Construction: The underside base features an unglazed, smooth flat foot rim revealing a clean, pale buff-white porcelain paste. The central recessed base is glazed in the matching light blue-gray tone. The piece is completely unmarked. Condition:  Excellent vintage pre-owned condition.
