Very vintage white shell bead and hand tied wire necklace probably from India.  The beads have a grayish hint to them; the wire is probably copper, but it is aged and I cannot tell for sure.  This is a lovely, simple, handcrafted item that has lasted a long time and will look good for many years to come.  Purchased from an estate many years ago.
