The plate is printed on high gloss Kromekote paper with a special six color process (as opposed to the usual four color process). "Komekrote" is an expensive and exclusive print surface typically reserved for projects calling for the very highest in print quality and detail. This plate was pressed with high quality offset, the likes of which are not often seen in offset lithography. The piece has been professionally dry mounted with archival materials by Fine Photo Galleries and ready for a standard frame. It is a striking image which will frame and display beautifully. ABOUT IRVING PENN:   Best known for his fashion photography, Irving Penn's repertoire also includes portraits of creative greats; ethnographic photographs from around the world; Modernist still lifes of food, bones, bottles, metal, found objects and of course flowers.
