You are purchasing a figurine by Ardalt Lenwile of an angel in a boat with 6276 on the bottom in red below the logo.  The material is bisque porcelain and hand painted.  Two small red paint (?) marks are on the reverse side and I assume to be a manufacturer's mark as I tried unsuccessfully with water on a cloth to remove.  Measures 6" long and 4-1/4" high.  Surprisingly, has some weight to it! The company name Ardalt Lenwile came to be post 1945 after the war and, although not marked, I would suspect this piece was made in Occupied Japan.  It contains the "AA" logo in red ink on the bottom. From non-smoking house.  Purchased from better gift shops in New York and New Jersey in the early 1990s.  My late wife and I collected products from Lenox and other better manufacturers for years.  Am moving and selling off most the collection.  See my other listings for more items.  Buy multiple lots and save on postage!
