Everything about these lanterns scream early mid 20s from the thick squared wrought iron (versus the flat curly stuff of mid century) to the pressed textured rain drop glass,hardware, latches & hinges to the tin and paint. Fresh from estate offered is a pair of wrought iron pressed glass Candle Lanterns. These lanterns are large the main box below the hinged pyramid lids measure in at 5-3/4 inch squared 6-1/2 tall. Overall height of these lanterns is 14-1/2 inch tall and width 8-1/2 inch squared to include ornamentals. Weight per lantern is 7 lbs. Properly packaged you are looking at 18 lbs for the pair. Please take note to the lidded section glass on one of these lanterns...one panel is cracked & another panel has corner chipped out,these panels will be taped to prevent any further damage in transit. Also take notice of the rusted tin floors. This is good old thick tin not even close to cancer-ing out would benefit from oil paint touching though.
