He also serves as an auditing committee member for art exhibitions. Some of his notable awards include: In 1991, he made his debut at the 39th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, and has been selected 26 times since. In 2013, he received the "Encouragement Award Wajima Lacquer Art Museum Prize" at the 30th Japan Traditional Lacquer Art Exhibition. In 2014, he was honored with the "Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology Award" at the 61st Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition. In 2017, he received the "Japan Kogei-kai Encouragement Award" at the 64th Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition. In 2020, he was awarded the "Encouragement Award Wajima Lacquer Art Museum Prize" at the 37th Japan Traditional Lacquer Art Exhibition.
