The main hunter is on a magnificent white stallion, and he seems to have his sword drawn. This is a 1970’s reproduction in the style of the Hunt of Maximilian c. 1530 AD. It was made in Belgium. This is a very nice tapestry purchased in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, in the early 1981.  It depicts 3 horse-mounted hunters, with 2 hunting dogs, and one of the horsemen has a hawk on his sleeve. They are in a very lush green forest.  The main hunter is on a magnificent white stallion, and he seems to have his sword drawn.  This is a 1970’s reproduction in the style of the Hunt of Maximilian c. 1530 AD.  It was made in Belgium. This item has a wire loop, and is ready for hanging. The tapestry was framed in Arlington, Texas in 1981.  It is in excellent vintage condition, has not faded, and has no rips, tears, stains, snags, holes, repairs, blemishes, or odors.   It has always been in a chemical, fragrance, smoke, and pet-free environment.    I ship free within the USA on the same day as receiving payment, using recycled packaging materials whenever possible.  Category: Art › Textile Art & Fiber Art.
