Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Wawel Polish Fine China (WAV13 Pattern) Single (1) Footed Demitasse Cup & Saucer Set. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and a few serving pieces were available in this pattern, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The following pieces are included in each set:   1 Saucer – 4.75” in diameter   1 Footed Demitasse Cup – 1.75” in height   The majority of saucers in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “W Wawel, Made in Poland,” though the majority of the demitasse cups are unmarked. A few pieces may have a slightly different backstamp. The footed demitasse cup & saucer set has a white base with an embossed white design around the rim, in addition to a pink/blue flowers & green foliage design, with a gold rim/verge. The pattern has been discontinued with the years of manufacture unknown.   Condition: Overall, the footed demitasse cup & saucer sets are in great condition and look to have been rarely used. The footed demitasse cup & saucer sets were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, flea bites, minor glazing/manufacturer imperfections, cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the gold rim and verge, but the pieces look only lightly used.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can!
