This is a red mun shou pattern tea cup and saucer with a Jiangxi Jingdezhen Ming 2 Ci mark on the bottom, dating it to the 1950s or 1960s (does that count as mid-century modern? 😊) Wan Shou Wu Jiang translates to boundless longevity or everlasting long life (Wan = 10,000 Shou = long life and Wu Jiang = without boundary). It's 3.75" across, 2" high; the saucer is 5.5" across and .75" high. Good condition, very minor wear consistent with age- there's some darkening on the rim but it isn't a chip.
