View Antique 1890s-1900s Edwardian Cotton Lawn + Mixed Lace Little Girl Dress with current marketplace pricing, condition, product images and item details. Early 1900s. Possibly as old as 1890s. The soft sheer cotton lawn fabric may have started as white but is now off-white from age and storage. Viewing the dress and the lace with a jeweler’s loupe, it appears the dress is hand stitched and hand made. From a Boston estate sale from a Beacon Hill family. Offered is a turn of the century full length custom made dress for a little girl that was lovingly preserved since early 1900s.  Possibly as old as 1890s.  Perhaps a flower girl dress or party dress. The soft sheer cotton lawn fabric may have started as white but is now off-white from age and storage. Viewing the dress and the lace with a jeweler’s loupe, it appears the dress is hand stitched and hand made.   Empire waist with small cap sleeves. There is no closure on the back except for the back neckline which can be closed with a thin ribbon (which also enhances the gathers). Approximate measurements were taken FLAT, one side only, as follows: Empire waist = 10" Shoulder seam to hem = 36” Armhole opening = 3-1/2"  Condition: A small 1/2” tear near the back hem and a small repair to the lower back opening.  Some small areas of uneven coloring from storage and age.  A few pinholes.  (See last 4 photos.).
