Stickley Mission Oak Arts & Crafts Tiger Oak Rocking Chair No. 817 is a beautifully crafted piece of furniture from the early 1900s. Please Read The Entire Description. An L. & J.G. Stickley Rocking Chair, No. 817 The signed work of L. & J.G. Stickley The fumed quarter-sawn oak slat back armchair with six slats and corbeled arms over a drop-in seat atop four square legs joined by a box stretcher raised on rockers. Wide curved arm rests, deep seat. A beautiful solid piece of furniture. Please see pictures for measurements. Condition: Overall good condition with scattered scuffs, scratches, nicks, shrinkage cracks, indentations, and separation at joints commensurate with age. Arms show fading. The back side rocker shows wear at the bottom and the seat material has 2 areas that need to be sewn as seen in the last few pictures. The chair is structurally very good.
