This beautiful, vintage, metal, puffy heart shaped ornament with self attached ring for hanging, depicts the Virgin Mary and Baby Jesus, Madonna and Christ Child, with two angels above, one holding a cross. There are some characters written above each angel and below the one bearing the cross. The ornament has gold gilt edging and a hanger made of twine, which appears newer than the ornament. The scene is the same on each side. What appears like paint is spattered on the Child's face on one side. There is some loss of paint along the edges, and some other minor deficiencies - see the very close up photos provided. Ornament measures approximately 4 inches high X 4 inches across at widest point. It is hollow and about 1 inch in depth at center and weighs about 1.5 ounces. I have had this a long time and in searching to list it, have not found another like it. Downsizing and must move things on.
