Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Mottahedeh Charleston Feather Single (1) Flat Tea Cup & Saucer Set. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and serving pieces were available in this pattern as well as many other patterns, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The following pieces are included in each set:   1 Saucer – 5.75” in diameter   1 Flat Tea Cup – 2.25” in height   The flat tea cups & saucers are marked with, or with a slight variation of the following backstamp: “Charleston Feather. Adapted from Chinese export porcelain circa 1795. Historic Charleston Reproductions. Mottahedeh, VA, 1824, Portugal.” Note that some tea cups and/or saucers may have a slightly different backstamp. The flat tea cup & saucer set has a white/grey base with a blue and green feathered design with gold accents, and a gold rim and verge. The pattern has been discontinued and years of manufacture for the pattern are between 1986 and 2004.   Condition: Overall, the flat tea cup & saucer sets are in very good, lightly used condition. The flat tea cup & saucer sets were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, light cleaning or storage scratches, or minor imperfections to the gold rim and verge, however the pieces look only lightly used, if ever.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can!
