Appraised Value $17,880 in 2011. Comes with original AIG appraisal.  I bought this from a high end estate auction years ago and only wore it to my wedding and a couple of charity events. Hard to capture the star movement in photos due to the overhead lighting, but the appraisal and photo outside the box show the star well. One prong set oval cabochon cut natural blue star sapphire, measuring 23.80 x 18.40 x 8.10mm, 6% bulge factor, approx. weight of 40.52ct.,clarity is heavily included, dark, very slightly grayish, blue color, (GIA B7/3), cut is good. This stone has a complete six ray star with strong intensity and very good movement. Transmitting light very diffusely, opaque. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Fourteen prong set round mixed cut natural blue sapphires measuring 2.25 - 2 x 1.38mm, approx total weight 0.84ct., clarity is moderately included, type II, medium dark, moderately strong, very slightly greenish blue color, (GIA vslgB 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with a minimum of distortion, transparent. 38 prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.70 - 1.60 x 0.99mm, approximate total weight =0.82ct Condition: Pre-owned - Good.
