Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Spode Christmas Tree (S3324) Imperfect Set of Three (3) Demitasse Saucers and Two (2) Demitasse Cups. At the time this listing was written, multiple demitasse cups and saucers were available in this pattern, in addition to many other china and glassware pieces that are available in a variety of other patterns, so be sure and check out my many other lots! The following pieces are included in each set:   3 Demitasse Saucer – 4.875” in diameter – All three saucers have light/relatively minor clear crazing. The crazing is clear and has not become brown/dirty.   2 Demitasse Cup – 2.25” in height – The two cups have light/relatively minor clear crazing. The crazing is clear and has not become brown/dirty.   The majority of pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “Spode, England, S3324, Christmas Tree” A few pieces may have a slightly different backstamp. Some pieces/backstamps also include a letter (many are different) that signifies details regarding the date/timeframe or other details surrounding the manufacture of the piece. The demitasse cups & saucers have a white/ivory base with a green and red holly & berry design, and a green rim/verge. The pattern is still active with the years of manufacture beginning in 1938.   Condition: Please note that this is an imperfect set with the major imperfections listed above. Aside from the major imperfections listed above, the demitasse cups & saucers are in very good condition and look to have been rarely used. The demitasse cups & saucers were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show light utensil marks, flea bites, minor glazing/manufacturer imperfections, cleaning or storage scratches, age spot, or minor imperfections to the green rim and verge, but the pieces look only lightly used.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can!
