This porcelain basket is oval shaped and made to resemble a puffy basket with a ribbon woven through the top of the basket creating puffy folds. It is unmarked as to maker or origins. It would look very pretty on a windowsill in the kitchen as a ring holder. Beautiful porcelain candy/trinket dish is a lovely way to display candy, keep jewelry on your vanity, spare change or keys on your hallway entry table or guest soaps in the bathroom.  This porcelain basket is oval shaped and made to resemble a puffy basket with a ribbon woven through the top of the basket creating puffy folds.  It is unmarked as to maker or origins.  I believe it is vintage from the 1970's or possibly 1980's. I purchased this at an estate sale and it is in good condition.  There are no chips, no cracks, no flea bites and no crazing that I could see.  The reason I am stating it is good rather than very good condition is because there are some areas where the metallic gold trim is worn.  Please refer to the pictures for the best description of its condition. The basket is white with a pretty pink rose floral bouquet on the front.  It has a cute squatty shape and is wider at the bottom that the top.  The top of the basket is scalloped and the handle has an overlapping leaf design.  There is metallic gold trim on the handle, and around the top of the basket.  It is very clean inside. Dimensions: Height - 3.25 inches Length side to side - 4 inches at the top Length side to side - 5 inches at the bottom/base Width - 4 inches Weight - 6.1 ounces This is a pretty little accessory for jewelry on your vanity, candies on a side or coffee table, keys or spare change on a hallway or entry way table, or guest soaps in your bathroom.  It would look very pretty on a windowsill in the kitchen as a ring holder.  It would make a wonderful trinket dish in a guest room or for peppermints in an Air BnB.  It is perfect for Cottage or Granny Core decor, Shabby Chic, French Country, or Country home decor themes.  It comes from a smoke-free environment.  Thank you for looking!
