History: Nippon pottery refers to Japanese porcelain marked with the word "Nippon" (meaning "Japan" in Japanese) on their bases, primarily produced for export to the United States between 1891 and 1921. Small bowls are in very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. No chips in the large bowl; however, there is a crack along the inside bottom - see last two photos.
