I suspect a leather rejuvenator could fix that. Clean inside and the zipper works well. There are two areas where the thread shows on the top where the buckle is located from wear. Measures 8" across, 4 1/4" high, and 1 3/4" thick. Has slots for credit cards and a pocket for currency, the zippered part would be for coins. The last five photos are of the checkbook holder.
