With good-quality Mediterranean coral getting harder to find, vintage cuffs like these are ever more treasured. It's handmade Native American work, probably Navajo. Materials and technique . This cuff isn’t stamped for silver content, but it tests as Sterling. It’s framed by five twisted silver wires, with the twists turned in alternating directions to add interest. The ends are capped off, which makes the cuff more comfortable to twist on and off the wrist. The cuff’s central plate is adorned with stamped and unstamped silver beads. The central oval coral cabochon is flanked by 10 other cabs arranged in symmetrical groups of five. Dimensions and weight. This is a substantial cuff, weighing in at 47 grams. It’s currently set for a size 6.25 wrist.  Its interior circumference measures five inches; add a gap of one inch between the bracelet terminals.  This cuff could be gently shaped for a slightly larger wrist; I recommend making only a one-time adjustment. It would best fit on a 6.25, 6.50, or at most, a 6.75 wrist. About the artist. This cuff is probably unsigned. I say “probably” because there is writing in black marker on the end of one bracelet terminal (shown in listing photos). It’s not legible to me.
