You just screw on your bracket plate to the wall. This is a vintage 60's Mid-Century Modern atomic pull down retractable 3 light fixture. The first time I saw this fixture, I just I had to have it. It's just a coolest thing I'd seen in some time. It's really easy to put up. You just screw on your bracket plate to the wall. I believe it was 2 or 3 screws. And then your other bracket piece just slides right into slots, and you're good to go, plug it in. There is some overspray or paint from some time in the past they painted and didn'tbother to take the light down. There's some white & blue paint on here.  It comes off though.
