I always provide verbal descriptions of colors.   Occasionally as a buyer, I have received items that smelled exceedingly fusty and I wanted to be sure my items never went out to you smelling like that! It was tricky because while I always freshly launder items before listing, I have no control over how long they will sit in drawers until they sell. I considered re-laundering at point of sale, but most of my items are line-dried and that would just delay shipping. My solution was to put sachets in the drawers holding my listed items. Many people loved this scent and I would often get asked what I used and where I purchased it. But I did hear from someone who was extremely sensitive to scents and I felt just terrible about that, so I have removed all sachets. I am also in the process of re-laundering my items, but this will take a while, so I just want to provide a note about this, in case you, too, are extremely sensitive to scent.
