The pattern is still active with the years of manufacture beginning for this pattern in 1851. Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Herend Queen Victoria (Green Border) Single (1) 6” Candy Box & Lid (#6026 / VBO). At the time this listing was written, multiple pieces were available in this pattern and many others, so be sure and check out my many other lots!   The candy box & lid measures approximately 6.5” in diameter, 1.375” in height w/o lid, 3.5” in height w/ lid, and the piece is marked with the following backstamp: “Herend Hungary, Handpainted, 6026 / VBO,” in addition to the Herend logo. The candy box & lid has a white base with a multicolor and green floral and butterfly handpainted design, a green border and sculpted orange ribbon handle on the lid, and gold trim/details. Please note that the piece is hand painted and the candy box may display variations in the intensity of color or unique features/design with other similar pieces. The pattern is still active with the years of manufacture beginning for this pattern in 1851. The candy box & lid is 1 st quality (no mark through the Herend logo).   Condition: Overall, the 6” candy box & lid is in great condition and looks to have been rarely used. The candy box & lid was acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The piece may show extremely light utensil marks, light cleaning or storage scratches, minor imperfections to the glaze and/or paint, or minor imperfections to the gold trim, but the piece looks only lightly used.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can!
