The heavy, thick-walled bronze body features a deeply cast horizontal register split into distinct pictorial frames displaying a landscape relief with a multi-tiered pagoda sanctuary under a celestial moon disc. The adjacent panels feature a traditional Japanese Ryu dragon coiling through concentric geometric wave patterns, explicitly cast with three claws which serves as the definitive cultural signature identifying authentic Japanese mythological metalwork. Two high-relief handles meticulously sculpted as stylized Baku protector heads flank the upper rim.
