It features the phrase "Der Trunk sei klar, dein Lieb sei rar". The German text translates to "May the drink be clear, may your love be rare" . The relief scene is adorned with Edelweiss flowers. Dimensions : Height is approximately 9”. Base is 3 ½” diameter. Maker’s Mark: Inside the lid there is an angel, GERZ logo, 95% ZINN. On the base is GERZ topped by a triangle; Germany 9 Condition : EXCELLENT: No obvious flaws. Close to new condition. No utensil marks, chips, cracks, scratches, crazing or staining. We are the original owners. It has never been used for drinking, only for display. Please enlarge and examine all photos for a complete condition assessment.
