Our research makes us believe this set is made of chalkware material, possibly a chalkware resin material. These appear to be hand-painted chalkware that utilizes colors of brown, purple, green, blue, white, red, talk pink, yellow, tan, and gold accents. This vintage 3-piece Nativity set is adorable, in extremely nice condition, and includes Jesus in manger, Mary, and Joseph. All pieces are marked Italy  on their undersides. Mary is also marked 7-3  and Joseph is also marked 7-1 . These appear to be hand-painted chalkware that utilizes colors of brown, purple, green, blue, white, red, talk pink, yellow, tan, and gold accents. Jesus measures about 1.5 by 1 by 1 inch, Mary measures about 2.5 by 1.5 by 1 inches, and Joseph measures about 2.5 by 1.5 by 1 inch. An unbranded set, but previous owners believed this set dates back to at least the 1970s and possibly much earlier. Our research makes us believe this set is made of chalkware material, possibly a chalkware resin material. Condition:  Very nice condition on this unbranded 3-piece, Jesus, Mary,  and Joseph small chalkware nativity set made in Italy.
