This is a vintage art pottery amphora vase with a tan and brown drip glaze.  It stands 10-1/2" tall, and features two high curved loop handles attached at the shoulders and neck.  It measures 4-1/2" wide across the handles, and has a 2-1/4" opening on top.  It's a  sturdy piece of pottery, weighing two and a half pounds.  Perfect for holding a few branches or heavy flowers! The artist's signature is incised around the edge on the bottom.  I can't decipher the name, and have been unable to identify the maker of this vase.   It was most likely made in the USA during the 1960's-1970's.   There's a good chance that it's the work of a Pacific Northwest artist.  This estate piece is in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing.  It has a lot of natural style, and displays beautifully!
