This listing is for an incredibly rare, authentic vintage (c. 1950s-1960s) men's haberdashery set by the famous American maker Hickok. This silver-tone set features a uniquely engineered dual-security design. ​The set includes a sleek alligator-style slide bar with a subtle basketweave textured top edge, connected via a fine-link safety guard chain to a detachable bullet-style clutch. The star of the piece is a phenomenal Mid-Century Modern atomic-era geometric tie tack featuring two interlocking open squares. The pin post of the tack snaps directly into the chain's clutch mechanism. ​The reverse arm of the alligator clip is clearly stamped with the authentic "HICKOK U.S.A." maker's mark. This is an exceptionally sharp, highly collectible piece for any vintage menswear enthusiast. ​This beauty has only had one owner and is in Excellent Vintage Condition.
