For sale is an elegant antique/vintage Japanese print. This intricate narrative scene portrays an elegant gather of figures in a traditional garden setting. A central female figure in a brilliant blue and floral-patterned kimono stands beside a kneeling samurai or nobleman carrying a katana sword. Nearby, children and attendants hang poetry slips onto the branches of a blooming plum or cherry blossom tree. The landscape features a classic thatched-roof tea house, a red arched bridge, and rolling hills in the distance.  It measures approximately 16" by 12". Condition: Features rustic, naturally frayed edges with a small crescent-shaped notch missing from the right side. There are remnants of paper mounting tape present on the front and back of the upper border from previous framing or display.
