Lacquered wood musical jewelry box, with a floral violin design on the (hinged) lid. Made in Sorrento Italy, by A. Gargiulo & Jannuzzi. Box has four gold tone metal feet. Inside is lined with red velvet and has a small compartment to hold small jewelry. Musical mechanism is covered with a velvet lined flap, and is also covered by a pane of glass. Musical component works and plays Torna A Surriento. Inside of lid has original sticker by distributor. *NOTE* - two very small spots on the edge of lid, The one in the first picture almost looks like it may be a part of the piece - it has no difference in feel or texture.
