BAILEY'S PATENT DEC. 24, 1867". I do not know. I could not find any other markings. Main wood handle has a chip on the top. 15" Antique wood plane. One blade is marked "L. Main wood handle has a chip on the top.  The last picture shows a name engraved in one end of the plane. Is it the owner's name? I do not know. I am assisting a widow friend move her grandfather's tools to a new home. No one in her family is interested.
