My name is Jim Camp, and in addition to being a letterpress printer, publisher, and bookseller, I've spent years rescuing forgotten photographs from flea markets, estate sales, junk shops, and dusty boxes that most people walk right past.  I love found photography. They're little mysteries. Tiny time machines. Anonymous moments that somehow survived while almost everything else around them disappeared. I don't overthink it; I simply let the image tell me what it wants to be called. For this photograph, I titled it "Shhh! The Twins Are Sleeping." Condition: VG. Original glossy snapshot measuring approximately 3 x 3 inches (7.6 x 7.6 cm). Light edge wear and minor handling from age. A clean, charming original photograph. The quiet intimacy is what drew me to this one. No birthdays, no posed smiles, no one looking at the camera—just two exhausted kids asleep in matching pajamas while someone quietly documented the moment. It's the sort of family scene that almost never survives outside the family album. Photographs like this remind me that everyday life eventually becomes history. This tiny snapshot has outlived the house, the furniture, the blankets, and perhaps even the people themselves.
