All the pelts have a really nice "light honey brown" color. This mink stole of 4 complete pelts is in excellent condition. They have been stored and unworn since perhaps the 1950's. The fur is soft and supple, not matted from wear, and with no signs of molting. All the pelts have a really nice "light honey brown" color.  It is a substantial piece, with 2 pelts going around the neck and 2 pelts draping. The 2 draping pelts connect to hold the stole scarf in place and the length from neck to the longest draping mink is 27 inches.  This piece heralds from more glamorous times, when women wore statement pieces when going out. This stole belonged to my grandmother. Our family didn't have much money - she worked in a factory making shoes. But she was a sharp dresser and this stole was one of her prized possessions. She passed in the 70's, but we kept the stole as a memory - after all, it was the only mink and statement piece our family could ever afford.   But this now deserves a new home.
