The Antique Satin collection by Towle of Romania is a pattern of crystal stemware, not flatware. There are no maker marks or stickers on these glasses. We chose to interpret these as Antique Satin due to the sizes and types of the stemware - i.e. RARE Set of 4 Antique Satin by Towle Crystal Champagne Flute 10" Tall Made in Romania Style Profile: Vintage Floral Style Hand Blown Crystal stemware SPECIAL NOTE: The Antique Satin by Towle and the Amaryllis by Colony are EXTREMELY similar stemware patterns. There are no maker marks or stickers on these glasses. We chose to interpret these as Antique Satin due to the sizes and types of the stemware - i.e. The Amaryllis water & wine goblets are 9 1/4 & 8 7/8" tall. The Champagne flutes are 9 1/4" Tall, and there are no Cordials listed as part of that production line. The water/wine goblets are 9 1/2" tall, the champagne flutes are 10" tall and the cordials are 7 7/8" tall. This is the reasoning we used to interpret these glasses as Antique Satin by Towle. But please make your own determination based upon your knowledge before purchasing. The Antique Satin collection by Towle of Romania is a pattern of crystal stemware, not flatware. The "of Romania" distinction refers to the country of manufacture for the crystal, which was produced by the American brand Towle for many years. Features: The Antique Satin crystal is known for its elegant combination of clear glass and a frosted or "satin" stem. Design: The pattern features a clear bowl and base, with the stem frosted in an opaque, satin finish. Production era: Though the exact dates of the Romanian production aren't specified in a single location (that we could find), by pooling data from various sources the production line appears to be active from 1983 to 1995.
