This Tibetan Metal Ampoule Pendant Necklace with gemstones is a stunning piece of vintage jewelry with a design that is rooted in the traditions of ancestral Tibetan tribal culture. The necklace features a unique ampoule pendant made of silver tone metal and set with multicolor natural gemstones, including coral, turquoise, carnelian, black agate and smoky Tibetan quartz. The ampoule pendant measures approximately 1.5 inches x 1 inch x 0.5 inch. The necklace comes with a 24" chain (12" on either side of the hook closure) that is made of rough, natural turquoise and dark purple Lapis Lazuli beads with textured metal spacer beads intersperced along its length. Handmade in Tibet, this pendant necklace is a one-of-a-kind accessory for both men and women and is perfect for all occasions to add a touch of Retro/BOHO flair to any outfit. Please be aware that this type of ampoule necklace was traditionally used to hold ceremonial powders, such as snuff or herbs. The ampoule was not constructed to be leak tight for modern day liquid perfumes or essential oils and should, therefore, be restricted to decorative use.
