Beautiful, embroidered Pier 1 table runner is made of burlap/jute & features gorgeous embroidered details & a fringed edge.  The table runner has the Pier 1 label on the back, but no label as to maker.  I believe it was made in India, based on my online research, probably in the early 2000's.  I purchased it at an estate sale and it is in good condition.  There is one spot on the back and another area on the back which may be a spot, but as there are several darker fabric "slubs" in the burlap/jute, the area I am not sure about may just be another imperfection in the burlap/jute.  There are no stains on the front.  I have included pictures of a couple of of the slubs (there are 5 or 6 on the back) so you know what I am talking about.  Slubs are not flaws or defects, they are a part of the nature of the burlap/jute fabric.  Please refer to the pictures for the best description of its condition. I laundered this on my washing machine's gentle cycle by placing it in a pillowcase and pinning it shut.  It came out beautifully.  I laid it flat to dry.  There were no issues, that is simply my practice with any textiles I purchase to avoid any unpleasant surprises. I love the rustic flair of this table runner!  It has so much charm because of the choice of woven fabrics used to create it.  The embroidered details are very well done and enhance the impressions of Fall leaves and add to the overall beauty of the runner.  The fringed edge is a fun touch that keeps it from taking itself too seriously! Dimensions: Length - approximately 35 inches Width - approximately 14 inches Weight - 8.6 ounces (The table is made to resemble four Fall leaves lying side by side so the dimensions above are by measuring from the longest leaf section side to side & top to bottom.) This is such a lovely cottage touch for your Fall decor.  The neutral colors mean it can be displayed year round without your in-laws raising any eyebrows!  It is casually rustic and classical autumn decor all at the same time.  It is a lovely piece to use on a coffee table, center of your dining room table or on a side table.
