The gentleman in this quarter plate tintype sat in front of a double mirror which allowed him to be reflected from four other angles simultaneously in one photograph. These graphic images are highly sought after by collectors. The tintype is held in a beautiful paper cartouche sleeve. Wishing my next caretaker good luck winning this unique image. CONDITION :  Please view my detailed photos for the actual condition of the image and as part of my description. The quarter plate tintype has very nice contrast, tonal range and excellent sharpness. Yes, the tintype has some bends, creasing and a few areas near the perimeter of the plate missing emulsion or cuts. These do not distract from the overall quality of the tintype.
