The underside bears an original-style “HAND PAINTED NIPPON” crown mark. Charming antique hand-painted Nippon porcelain covered trinket or dresser box, dating to approximately 1910–1921. This unusual little box features a molded tuxedo-style design with raised collar and button detailing around the base. The domed lid is beautifully decorated with hand-painted pink roses, vivid green accents, raised gold detailing and a small knob finial. Gold gilding finishes the rim. The underside bears an original-style “HAND PAINTED NIPPON” crown mark.
