The bird has texture across their body and wings offsetting and highlighting the appearance of the brooch. Wire Bird Nest w Eggs Dimensional Gold Tone Vintage Jeanne Signed Brooch Pin  This whimsical and pretty nature themed small brooch pin is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This brooch pin features a dimensional shape (not flat) with a shiny gold tone, some parts polished and other parts textured. Some portions of the gold tone have wear, it is an older brooch. In addition, it has been in a jewelry box for a long time and the shuffling caused a small dark rhinestone to become embedded in the nest. The pin has a bird perched over their nest looking down at three small off white faux pearl eggs that are quite tiny. The bird has texture across their body and wings offsetting and highlighting the appearance of the brooch. This pin m easures approximately 1 & 3/8" long x 1 & 1/8" wide.  The brooch closes with a rolling C clasp and the clasp, lock, pin and hinge are in working order. The brooch is hallmarked on the back of the pin under the clasp. This brooch is dated to around the 1980s, perhaps a bit earlier. Conditional issues are metal wear, some loss of plating, the eggs are all very slightly different colors of off white, light surface scratching and signs of use and wear. This brooch is pretty versatile as it has been used for work/career fashions as well as casual fashions. It also makes a nice collectible. This is a brooch that is best for someone who prefers vintage items even though vintage items may have a few flaws and imperfections. Vintage items have character, history and mystery as well.
