Description: Up for sale is a beautiful Winterling Roslau Bavaria Gold Encrusted Single (1) Dinner Plate. At the time this listing was written, multiple place setting pieces, extra pieces, and a few serving pieces were available in this pattern and many other coordinating patterns, so be sure and check out my many other lots!   The dinner plate measures approximately 9.625” in diameter, has a coupe shape design, and the majority of pieces in the set are marked with the following backstamp: “W, Winterling, Roslau Bavaria, number/letter.” A few pieces may have a slightly different backstamp and the numbers/letters may differ or be omitted on some pieces. The plate has a cream/white base with a geometric design on a gold encrusted rim, in addition to a gold rim/verge. The pattern is not easily researchable or readily available for purchase elsewhere online, but the backstamp likely dates the years of manufacture for the piece in/around 1950.   Condition: Overall, the dinner plates are in good used condition. The plates were acquired as part of a much larger set with little history known; however, no major condition issues (chips, cracks, crazing) were noticed upon a thorough inspection. The pieces may show some utensil markings, flea bites, minor glazing/manufacturer imperfections, cleaning or storage scratches, or minor/moderate imperfections/wear to the gold rim and verge.  If you have specific questions regarding condition, please don’t hesitate to contact me as I am more than willing to help in any way I can!
