Yellow Modernist Heart Shape Enamel Gold Tone Metal Dangle Vtg Pierced Earrings  This fun pair of modernist, drop dangle yellow heart earrings are preowned and are in good to fair condition for the right person. Truly, they are in lovely condition but they have a couple flaws. One is on the inner tip of one of the hearts where the enamel did not go all the way till the end, the opposite earring has a tiny chip in the enamel at the edge. Please review the photos carefully to ensure these earrings are acceptable to your standards. These earrings are a flat heart in a gold tone metal with yellow enamel. There is a small gold tone ball stud at the earlobe which then falls directly into the dangling heart. The gold tone is bright and shiny and the enamel is glossy and shiny. The yellow is a nice shade, not bright and bold but a bit more subdued. Technically these can be considered a flat hoop since they are open in the center.  These earrings measure approximately 2" long x 1 & 1/2" wide. The earrings are a pierced, stud style that fits right up at the earlobe. They still have the original (clean) butterfly pushbacks to secure to the ear. The earrings are not hallmarked or signed. They are lightweight earrings that will not bring your ear lobe down.  Conditional issues are the two flaws in the enamel, light metal wear and surface scratching with light signs of use and wear.  These earrings are from the late 1980s perhaps a tad bit later. They have a pop art kind of style. These earrings are best suited for the individual who likes unique styles and preowned jewelry that is a bit older, which may have flaws and imperfections but have character, history and some mystery too.
