This pretty Piccadilly jasper, a.k.a. Picasso jasper stone necklace is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. It is artisan made and unsigned. The necklace features uniform flat oval stones in various color and matrixes.The natural stones showcase an incredible variety of earthy colors including sage green, cream, tan, charcoal, gray and terracotta red all tied together by the stone's signature dark, abstract web-like veining. Picasso jasper stone necklace is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This necklace was originally purchased in New Mexico around the Albuquerque area back in the late 1990s. It is artisan made and unsigned. The necklace features uniform flat oval stones in various color and matrixes.  The natural stones showcase an incredible variety of earthy colors including sage green, cream, tan, charcoal, gray and terracotta red all tied together by the stone's signature dark, abstract web-like veining. The large, mostly gray, center oval focal stone features beautiful, dramatic natural matrix veining, including a striking white quartz/calcite growth band running through the center. On the reverse side, there is a tiny, natural open vug (cavity) crystal pocket characteristic of genuine raw jasper. These are authentic geological traits from the stone's formation, completely polished smooth to the touch—they are NOT chips, cracks, or damage. The piece remains solid and structurally sound.  The necklace measures approximately 32" from end to end and locks with a magnetic barrel clasp.  The stones measure approximately 1/2" long x 3/8" wide and the center stone measures approximately 1 & 1/8" x almost 7/8" wide.  There are no hallmarks or signatures on the necklace. It is a heavier weighted necklace. The necklace is dated to the 1990s. Conditional issues are some light tarnish on the metal magnetic  clasp, some surface scratches and very light chips on the stones with general signs of use and wear.  This is a nice necklace that was used for work and casual fashion outfits.  This necklace is best suited for a person who truly enjoys unique jewelry items that are a bit older and may have flaws or imperfections but have character, history and a bit of mystery too.
