The chain is very lightweight and non magnetic, possibly aluminum. Natural Pink Peach Branch Coral Mixed Metal Tone Alloy Clasp Vintage Necklace  This vintage branch coral necklace is preowned and is in good condition for the right person. This necklace features a mixed metal two-tone chain with the coral branches and small chip beads at the bottom suspended with nylon. The chain has a bright and shiny gold tone with a curb style and the curbs are actually a diamond cut silver tone adding sparkle to the chain. The chain is very lightweight and non magnetic, possibly aluminum. The coral branches are shiny and have a very light pink to pale peach color amongst the pieces. The branches are in good condition, some appear broken at the bottoms and it is hard to know if this is original or not. There are some pits and light discolorations at the bottoms of the branches that are natural and not flaws, there are a few on the branches themselves. This necklace measures approximately 18" long from end to end and locks and secures with a spring ring clasp. The necklace is not hallmarked. The necklace is very lightweight. Conditional issues are some fissures that are natural, pitting and discolorations that are natural, some broken bottoms of the branches (may be original, hard to tell), metal wear at the clasp, some nylon strands are showing a bit at the transition from coral to chain, with general signs of use and wear. This necklace is from the 1980s perhaps a bit earlier. This item is best suited for someone who enjoys older, preowned jewelry which sometimes have a few flaws or imperfections but have character, history and some mystery too.
