The embroidered fabric is a gorgeous gilt threaded tapestry type material then covered with clear vinyl in laminated fashion. 1950s Ivory Embroidered Fabric Vinyl Laminated Plastic Purse with Carved Lucite Handle.  A hybrid of a hardbody plastic acetate or lucite purse in combination with a fabric more traditional purse, as well as the use of an exquisite carved lucite framework and handle.  A real wild piece! It is 11'' wide and 9'' high and is soft bodied, so it ranges from 3 inches to 3/4 on an inch thick- depending on how filled it is. The embroidered fabric is a gorgeous gilt threaded tapestry type material then covered with clear vinyl in laminated fashion. The frame on top is super decorative carved lucite as is the handle which adds approximately 5 inches to overall height.  Purse is not marked. It is lined on the interior with a peach fabric lining and has an attached piece on chain on the inside- a small vinyl wallet.                      Purse is in excellent condition with some signs of wear. as well as small ink stains. still does not take away from the beauty of the purse.
