Engraved Diamond Cut Pattern Gold Tone Black Enamel Button Clip On Earrings This pair of shiny black button earrings are in good to very good condition. These are from the mid 1990's so they are a bit vintage and they are preowned with one owner. They are black enamel over a gold tone metal and the metal has been engraved with a pattern that could be a starburst, flame or general abstract. The engraving and cut goes around the outside with a lovely scallop pattern. The diamond cut provides a little gleam or glint of sparkle. Conditional issues include some enamel that has either chipped off or was a manufacturing flaw on one of the earrings in the center by the star pattern. It can be seen with magnification. Like all vintage jewelry, there may be some surface scratching on both sides. There is wear and some light tarnishing on the back side. Overall these are a nice, unique, classy pair of clip on earrings that are multi-functional from work and career jewelry, to date night jewelry to organizational functions like school and church. These earrings measure a little over 1/2" or about 9/16ths of an inch. We will be happy to provide a gift box for this set so that is has future safe travels as well as easy home storage.
